Bennett Lewis is a Nashville (formerly Athens, GA) based multi-instrumentalist, as well as lead guitarist and backing vocalist for of Montreal. A 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia, Bennett cut his teeth in the diverse Athens music scene, performing at local venues and collaborating with fellow Athens artists. Bennett is a proficient session musician and experienced guitar instructor.

Bennett has recorded with a number of artists and bands, including Kevin Barnes, of Montreal, Foxygen, Orenda Fink (Saddle Creek Records), Ruby Amanfu, Ryan Monahan, Madeline, and Lera Lynn. He has also toured both nationally and internationally in support of acts such as Maren Morris, Jake Bugg, K.D. Lang, Punch Brothers, Ryan Bingham, Sam Bush, Joan Osborne, Sarah Jarosz, Jim Lauderdale and more. Bennett draws his inspiration from a myriad of musical styles, comfortably performing many genres, including blues, country, bluegrass, folk, rock, and jazz.
