About

Through his education and dedication to crafting his remarkable style, Menios has performed at various clinics with legendary drummers such as Dave Weckl, Jojo Mayer, Dom Famularo, Thomas Lang, to name a few renowned artists.

Menios is the Drummer of Y.F.G. (Yiorgos Fakanas Group) and, within the group, Menios has collaborated with some of the world’s greatest musicians, such as Andre Nieri (Guitar), Bob Franceschini (Sax), Guthrie Govan (Guitar), Miso Iossifov (Trumpet), Mike Stern (Guitar), Steve Weingart (Piano / Keys), Stu Hamm (Bass), Tony Lacatos (Sax), and Tim Garland (Sax).

In 2018 Menios released his first solo album called “Expectations” with eight tracks and soon after created his own band called “Expectations Project.” 

As a teacher for 25 years, Menios is vigilant in his passion and is also the Chief of the drum department at Yiorgos Fakanas Art Music School in Athens, Greece. In addition to being an educator, Menios is also the Artist Supervisor for the Athens Drum Festival while running the entire annual event.
