ABOUT THE SOS AWARDS

The SOS Awards first launched in 2010 with a mission to honour and celebrate the finest products in our industry.

The Best New Products Of The Year Chosen By The Readers Of  SOUND ON SOUND

Voting opened on 21 September 2023 for the 14th annual SOS Awards and continues throughout October and November 2023. The results will be compiled and announced on [the SOS] website and social channels in early 2024.

Each category consists of a shortlist of nominations, chosen by the SOS editorial team, and [SOS] would like participants to tell [SOS] what they think are the outstanding products in each of the groups. As always, you are not required to vote in every category — if you don’t have any strong opinions on some of the product groups, then there’s no need to vote for anything in those categories. 

To be nominated for a SOS Award, a product has to have been on sale, or tested and reviewed by us, in the 12 months prior to the voting period. This year’s nominations can be viewed on the dedicated SOS Awards web page — www.sosawards.com — until the end of November 2023, and we very much look forward to seeing your choices for all the best new products of the last year in music technology and recording.
