About

Trent Owen is an American touring & session drummer, songwriter, band leader, and content creator specializing in emulating Ronnie Tutt’s iconic drumming from his years with Elvis Presley. Known for high energy live performance and session work, Trent has been featured with artists of all genres of music including Transylvania Stud, Rhinestone Pickup Truck, Chance McCoy (Old Crow Medicine Show), Raquel Lily (Twitch Partner), Siobhan Magnus (American Idol), Tragic City, Whitney Rose, Jessica Lee Wilkes (Olivia Jean, The Minks), The Secret Sisters, and more. Trent has also been featured in Drum! Magazine, has competed and judged for the Guitar Center Drum-off, and was a top five finalist for the 2019 Promark/Evans Drumheads #DrumSoloFTW contest. Trent is also a former student of the Deantoni Parks’ Technoself School of Philosophy and a former student of jazz drumming legend Peter Erskine.
