The integrated DYNAMITE preamp technology makes the DCM8 and DCM6 much louder than typical dynamic microphones and eliminates the need for expensive and bulky inline preamps.

The DCM8 provides an upgraded 3-layer pop filter and an extra outer windscreen to maximize versatility for a range of sonic environments. Additionally, the 3-layer pop filter can be easily disassembled and sanitized thanks to quick-drying impermeable components.
